Under MCL 600.5744, a Writ of Restitution cannot be issued until 10 days after entry of the Judgment for Possession. In pure nonpayment cases you have an absolute right to redeem by paying the full judgment amount (arrears + taxed costs) within these 10 days — this completely stops the eviction.

Pay and Stay Rights

Pay the full judgment amount (rent owed + court costs) within the 10 days.
Payment must be made in a way the court / landlord will accept and recognize (get a receipt).
Once paid in full within the window, the writ cannot issue and the eviction is stopped.
